Pregnancy Yoga
Pregnancy yoga mentally and physically prepares you for pregnancy, labour and birth. It improves your flexibility, strengthens the body and quiets the mind. Many pregnancy problems can be helped by this gentle exercise including fluid retention and constipation. Your posture is also improved by yoga and this can help ease back problems, which are so common in pregnant women.
My pregnancy yoga classes are suitable for complete beginners from 14 weeks of pregnancy. The emphasis is on gentle movements to encourage optimal fetal positioning, breathing and relaxation.
Attending pregnancy yoga will provide you with the knowledge, support and practical tools to encourage a positive and empowering pregnancy and birth experience. It encourages breath and body awareness, reduces worry and teaches women to adapt to new situations.
I run classes in Stratford-upon-Avon
Cost £8.00 per session
Classes are booked in blocks of four sessions. The cost is £32.00 per block, payable in advance. You are welcome to come to your first session and pay £8 to see if you like it. If you do you can sign up for a block. Please note that the fee is payable whether or not you attend all the sessions offered in each block. You can mix and match the sessions e.g. if you can’t attend your normal Monday session you can attend the Wednesday evening. During the last month of your pregnancy a weekly payment is fine.
